Easter.

It's not just about chocolate bunnies, in fact it's the most important holiday of the year. Imagine that you were to die today, and come face to face with the King of the Universe, and to be asked, "Why should I let you into my Heaven?" Would you have an answer? Would it be "I'm pretty good, I never killed anybody." Or perhaps "I did a lot of good stuff when I was alive, more good than bad?"

The bible teaches that all of us are born sinners (Romans 3:23) and unworthy of being in God's presence. Compared to God's righteousness, we all deserve death, but fortunately there is hope (Romans 6:23). Christ, fully God and fully man, was blameless yet died to pay for the sins of any who believe. If you have not found him, I urge you to seek him immediately, and you will be rewarded with the richness of his mercy and grace. (Deuteronomy 4:29)

The web page is looking pretty complete. I am waiting for iTunes to approve my podcast and assign me an id so that I can add a 'iTunes Subscribe' button to the page. One of the real problems that exist for podcast users is getting the feed set up so that programs are automatically downloaded to their computer. iTunes makes it easy, once you get it set up, but not everyone uses iTunes, and it seems cumbersome to add a button for each different podcast client.

The RSS 2.0 button on the left side of the web page points to the RSS feed but clicking on it will NOT subscribe you to the podcast, it will only display a bunch of XML code. Go ahead and try it, if you like. You CAN right-click on that icon and choose 'Copy Link Location'. You can then paste this into your podcast client (program) to subscribe to Almost LIVE! Radio's feed.

What IS Almost LIVE! Radio? ALR is a show about nothing, and so much more! We’re figuring things out as we go, but the basic idea is that anyone can contribute to the show. So if something funny, or weird, happened to you over the weekend we want to hear about it. If you know of an interesting news story that didn’t make the news then let us pass it on. If you found a great new computer trick or think the latest movie is a bomb then, by all means, spread the word. Complaints? We like to complain and maybe you do to? Let's hear 'em!

You can be a part of ALR! Just leave us a voicemail from any telephone or from your computer and leave the rest to us. See www.almostliveradio.com for details on how to do either. Long distance charges may apply.
